Join the Start Fund Hackathon from May 28th to June 2nd, where we will work with you to plan and launch a Start Fund so that you can begin investing this summer. Why wait?
- May 28, 11 AM PST: Define your thesis and identify confidants
- June 2, 11 AM PST: Leveraging your network to build a soft-commit pipeline
Today, it is possible to launch faster, start smaller, and build a real investing track record before going full-time. The best emerging managers are not waiting for permission. They are using the networks, startup access, and founder dealflow they already have to build something now.
This hackathon is for people ready to launch, not just learn.
Over two working sessions, you will build the foundation for a Start Fund: a clear investment thesis, a target startup list, an LP outreach plan, and a path to your first $150K in commitments. Whether you want to launch a local fund, an AI fund, a sector-focused fund, or a community-backed fund built around your existing network, this program is designed to help you move from idea to execution quickly.
Eligible Start Funds that close during Q2 will receive a $10,000 investment from Decile Group.
